Having problems with Vent on my new machine.

No issues with it on my old machine at the new place/new network. Booted the machine, ran the program and away we went.

New machine however, is being a bastard. Here's what I've done so far:

DL'd 64-bit 3.X from Ventrilo, installled, configured, tried to connect. After I hit connect, it just hangs. It doesn't do anything until I close it.

DL'd 32-bit 3.X from Ventrilo, same as above.

Checked Windows Firewall, Ventrilo is on the allow list.

Turned UDP and TCP ports 5000 and 6100 on in the route configuration, still the same.

DL'd 32-bit 2.3 version from X-Fire, delete 3.X, install 2.3, configure, run and try to connect. Pop-up -> 'Unable to connect to server'.

Ping the Vent server and it comes back good.

I'm at a loss...any suggestions?

As for C's prob, try right clicking and select "Run As Administrator"

Also, check your drivers, maybe.

That might explain it.

Didn't have any other servers to test on, so I had to assume there were no problems on the host side.
